Delicious and indulgent food and great service. We recently dined at Hen Mother Cookhouse, we tried a variety of dishes, and our party of five were all pleased. I loved the market hash full of fresh and delicious vegetables, topped with two eggs my way. We also ordered the potatoes, cheeseburger, French toast and the pancakes which were a hit with the group! Portions are definitely oversized. I was unable to eat even half of my market hash. Definitely glad we ordered the french toast and pancakes to share for the table. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this spot for breakfast and brunch! Please note you cannot make reservations, and you cannot be seated until your entire party is present.

What a wonderful breakfast spot! LaLa and I took the pups to Hen Mother Cookhouse and had such a great experience. The patio was perfect—nicely shaded, completely covered, and very cool, making it super comfortable and truly dog friendly. We had the most amazing pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered potatoes for the doggies (though of course we shared with them!), and they loved it just as much as we did. The service was great from start to finish, and the restaurant itself is decorated so cute and charming. It has such a warm, welcoming feel. We can’t wait to go back!

On a busy Saturday morning, I was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away—definitely a win considering they operate on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservations). Once seated, I was presented with both the food and beverage menus, and of course, I couldn’t resist trying one of their house-made lattes. I went with the strawberry iced latte—beautifully crafted and just as delicious. It gave me a nice boost of energy, though I was already in great spirits. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with an open-house concept complemented by thoughtful touches of art and fresh flowers throughout the space. It feels both cozy and intentional. Now let’s get into the star of the show—the pancakes. Absolutely worth the hype. They’re generously sized—honestly, one pancake could be shared among a group. Paired with fried chicken thighs, eggs, and avocado, my meal felt perfectly balanced and indulgent in the best way. What really stood out was the overall flow and service. The environment is relaxed, yet the staff works seamlessly together, creating an experience that feels both efficient and welcoming. All in all, Hens Mother Cookhouse set the tone for a beautiful birthday celebration and I’d gladly return.

Perfect for a cute & casual hearty southern brunch! Service was super warm and we got seated right away around 12:30 on a Saturday. Got the fried chicken Caesar melt and chicken biscuit and were blown away by the portions and flavors. The strawberry matcha latte was high quality and not too sweet. Recommended to our friends & family in Atlanta!
