We arrived early, so we had personalized service. For appetizers, we decided to get Kurt rolls; with a choice of injera with homemade Ethiopian cheese and collard greens. We ordered the vegetarian platter as the main course with 2 proteins. We chose steak and salmon.. soft Ethiopian music lent great ambience. The children were so excited, that they ate with no regard to the level of spice. It was absolutely delightful! I recommend the platter if you have a party of 3 or more. You get 5 vegetables and 2 proteins- see photos. Highly recommended for something unique.

Located in an eclectic strip mall, at first sight Ethiopiques is nondescript but once you enter the doors, you are warmly greeted by staff. This place weaves Ethiopian cuisine into a tapestry of aroma and color, woven together on a single shared platter and one Sundays they add a coffee ritual to their repertoire. We had the special with lamb and chicken tibs and an array of vegetables. This place does not disappoint with vibrant flavor, exceptional tenderness, and an experience that feels both warm and celebratory. Every bite was delicious and worth a visit if you are in the area.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I couldn’t have picked a better place! I loved being able to experience and learn more about Ethiopian culture and cuisine — it made the visit even more special. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also a standout and the perfect way to end the meal. It was truly a beautiful experience overall. I’ve officially found a new favorite restaurant and will definitely be coming back. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends!

We got the large vegetarian platter and we could not stop eating. It was so incredibly delicious. Each bite was different. I’m still thinking about it. We also got the traditional tea which was so refreshing between bites. Our server was wonderful, warm, and informative. The atmosphere felt lovely and had a lot of Ethiopian decor. We will be back!
