Pearl Lian is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is amazing and the architecture is beautiful. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. We had Jen as our bartender and she was lovely, we are looking forward to coming back!

Food was decent, Like the Basil fried rice , Panag curry was good but the gravy was not thick as expected. Noodles were kind off good but nor crazy...Ambiance is great and service is outstanding. Very clean , well maintained....

Wait a Minute! Did I just eat the best take out Chinese food? Yes, yes I did. So, a little backstory here. Living here 25 years. When this placed opened it was the best Chinese restaurant around. The restaurant itself is stunning, they spent a lot of money on this build out, and the bar! Gorgeous! Used to be a local hotspot on weekends. Always packed, standing room only. The food was so good, like a fancy Chinese restaurant you would find in New York, if you’re from there, you know what I mean. You could count on a party happening there for someone’s birthday or new years etc. You dressed up, made reservations, had date night there or family dinner. Fast forward several years later it just went downhill. We stopped going there because food became inconsistent (quality & taste), place was a bit dingy feeling & in desperate need of a facelift (or deep scrub down) and the service was no longer top notch. It basically turned into a regular cheap chinese restaurant that’s on every other street corner. Haven’t been there in at least 5 years. I did decide to order takeout last night from Pearl Lian, not sure what I was thinking but decided to try it again. WOW! So glad I did! Everything was unbelievable. And I do mean everything. Pot stickers were perfect! The egg rolls! Were they handmade? Crispy/chewy shell no oily residue! Shrimp in lobster sauce - fresh & flavorful! Gen. Tsoas chicken-actual chunks of chicken you are biting into not just chunks of batter! Fried green beans actually crispy and not oily or soggy?! Rice was fluffy & perfect. Where am I right now? All I have to say is whoever the new chef is here at Pearl Lian they are doing something right. We have never been so satisfied with our food from here or any other local Chinese restaurant like we were last night. We will have to see if they stay consistent. If so, I’ll definitely order from there on a regular basis, but only time will tell.
