Spending quality time in Alpharetta, GA with my Beautiful Husband, enjoying a spontaneous getaway because we can! We're on a mission to find the perfect roasted beans to brew with our Ninja Luxe 701, a thoughtful gift from our adult children. After reading reviews, we decided to visit Peach Tree Roasters. Today it's just past 1:00 pm, and inside the cafe, there are about six patrons including us. As I sit here sipping my cappuccino, I'm taking a moment to share my thoughts. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back, perfect for working, relaxing, or catching up with loved ones while enjoying the soothing background music. When my Beautiful Husband asked the barista about the beans used in our drinks, she pointed us in the direction towards the wall - literally! We spotted several rows of colorful bags on the wall, and I took a guess, correctly identifying the blue bag on the second shelf to which she confirmed yes 🙃. What's impressive is that Peach Tree Coffee Roasters was awarded four bronze medals in the 2019 North American Golden Bean Competition, setting high expectations for their specialty coffee. However, our experience was a letdown. My cappuccino and my husband's latte, while decent, didn't live up to the hype. The flavors were overpowered by the milk, resulting in a bland taste that lacked the espresso richness we were expecting. My husband finished his drink, not because it was exceptional, but because he was making the most of our time together. I, on the other hand, could not get past the taste to finish mine, feeling like it was a waste of money. While the atmosphere was pleasant, our good cup of coffee experience wasn't memorable enough to warrant a return visit when passing through Atlanta again. I politely suggest to owner to put the same energy creating flavorful coffee flavor as he does creating the perfect roast.

Stepped outside the regular and tried the Bees Knees Summer Feature. Tasty (like that is not overly sweet) and refreshing on a hot Sunday. The green tea cookie was good, but more dense like a scone—again desirable if you don’t want super sweet. Definitely a nice, chill cafe to enjoy a coffee or tea beverage.

Peach Coffee Roasters is easily my favorite spot in Atlanta. I love the coffee , and the staff is almost always fantastic. I highly recommend the cappuccino with 1 or 1/2 pump of vanilla I had a bit of an off experience during my last visit, though. I tried to have a friendly chat with the barista about the difference between your drip and pour-over, but he was quite dismissive, gave one-word answers, and told me to just look at the menu. It felt a bit patronizing, which was disappointing given how much I enjoy coming here. I’m hoping it was just an off day, as the staff usually does such a great job setting the vibe—would love to see that friendly atmosphere continue

I love every detail of the space—the atmosphere, the energy, and the care put into everything. The quality is truly unique, making it the best café in the area. I always come back.
