This holiday season, the JCSO is hosting two special concerts that are perfect for audiences of all ages. These concerts have been an annual tradition for the Johns Creek community, and this year, the JCSO is ready to present them with new setlists and guest stars under the artistic eye of Music Director finalist Paul Bhasin, making his debut with the orchestra.
A Kids’ Christmas

Mark your calendars for December 16 and bring the whole family to “A Kids’ Christmas” concert! This fun and festive event is perfect for kids, offering a magical introduction to the world of orchestral music. This sensory-friendly concert is designed to be enjoyable for everyone, including individuals with Autism, Alzheimer’s, dementia, other special needs, small children, or anyone just desiring a casual holiday concert experience.
Conductor Paul Bhasin will lead the orchestra through classic holiday arrangements such as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Sleigh Ride,” and more! Children are encouraged to dance, sing along, and participate freely in the concert. Adding to the concert’s festivities, there will be a narrator and a special appearance from Santa Claus to spread some holiday cheer! Families are welcome to bring headphones and other sensory items to ensure the concert is enjoyable for sensitive individuals.
“Our musicians love performing in our ‘A Kids’ Christmas’ because we all get to put on our Santa hats and celebrate with the kids in a way that is engaging and fun,” says Linda Brill, Executive Director of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. “This concert is specifically designed to appeal to kids, families and our friends who are neurodiverse.”
