To anyone on the fence about Burn Bootcamp because you've heard about the jumping and the stress on your knees… here's my story. Back in 2019, I joined Burn Bootcamp and lost a significant amount of weight after having my second kid. But it wasn't just the weight, I gained confidence, and I loved how I felt. The community pulled me in: trainers, fellow campers, even complete strangers who'd throw you a high five or a fist bump of encouragement. I got fit enough to join my first ALTA team. Then, on a typical 90-degree day at the end of ATL summer, I tore my meniscus mid-game. My knee doubled in size instantly, and the pain was immense. I begged the owners of the Johns Creek franchise at the time to let me out of my contract. Right around then, COVID hit, and the world went to hell in a handbasket. That was that. Fast forward to 2026. Between stress and pressure coming at me from every direction, I made a fairly rash decision to join Burn Bootcamp again. I like to blame my bestie - the one I listed as my reference - for talking me into it. But honestly? I went back because I remembered how good it made me feel. I'm only about 30-something camps in now. I'm not hitting all six days a week, between work, family, kids, and school, I'm lucky if I make it 3 or 4 days. But I love it. Every exercise comes with three levels: baseline, upward modification, downward modification. I'm still doing pushups on my knees and stepping up instead of jumping onto the box. And yet- I can open pasta jars like a pro now, haul the heavy, awkward trash bags with one hand, and I've got more energy to say "yes" to whatever life throws at me.
Sep 18, 2026 · Google ReviewThis was my first time at this location. I belong to Sandy Springs, but I was in the area so I thought to stop in and see the difference and wow! This gym is amazing and huge compared to mine. Everyone was very friendly. Keith was the trainer. He was great very personable. Challenged me. made sure I have the right form. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Keith.
Jun 9, 2026 · Google ReviewThe absolute best! Keith and his team are so kind, so inviting, and so knowledgeable at what they do. There is plenty of variety in workouts and things can be tapered/modified to fit your needs. If you need a good quality workout—they check that box. If you need good vibes and a genuinely supportive team—they check that box too! As a former collegiate athlete I have spent a lot of time at gyms and in the fitness industry. Burn John’s Creek does things the right way. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Mar 11, 2026 · Google ReviewBurn Boot Camp, Johns Creek location is truly my 'happy place'. Very good trainers, even though its a group class the trainers are very engaging. Trainers do give individual attention and they make sure enough exercise options are given to those who cannot handle heavy weights. Trainers do a good job in keeping the class enjoyable and fun. I like the way the classes are a blend of strength and conditioning, very well planned and balanced. The Burn Boot Camp has an amazing phone app that keeps me up to date on the upcoming classes and events. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.
Sep 12, 2025 · Google ReviewI’ve been at BBC for almost four months now and have really enjoyed my time there! If you want to be pushed, they’ll get you a heavier weight. If you need to take it easy, they’ll make sure you’re still getting the work in. Child watch is also a wonderful added bonus - my kids love getting to go and see me workout. Would recommend!
