There's not much going on at the park part, but the metal horse sculpture is a cute photo op. Just line up your angle because the scrolling curls of the metal blend into the trees making the pic look really messy if you can't position the horse's head against the sky.

This park has seen some new additions since my family and I, moved to this neighborhood. The addition of the playground has brought much needed activity to the park as parents are now bringing their children to play. Additional benches and a picnic table have also been added. I originally wrote a review on the impressive metal sculpture at the roundabout on my other blogs. I could not find the name of the artist, but the sculpture is a masterpiece. At the top end of the park is a garden, but I could not tell what plants are in there, the city should consider adding the names.

We made the most of the playground. We tried each “thing,” mostly assisted climbing and pushing the objects side to side. My son (2 years old) enjoyed the object that was similar to a swing. He got on and I moved it in all directions to test how long he could hold on. My one year old and I enjoyed the open field and my son enjoyed climbing the hill. We may return in the warmer seasons to utilize the open field some more to play soccer, have a picnic, or play frisbee.

Not a lot of options for activities in the playground, mostly for 5 years and under, it's near roundabout so I don't really like hanging around that close to traffic with young kids. Impressive horse sculpture, kudos to the artist.
