Kinokuniya Opens First Georgia Store in Johns Creek
In June 2023, Kinokuniya opened its first Georgia location in Johns Creek, marking the company’s 21st store in the United States. With a retail space second only to its New York Main Store, the new Johns Creek location serves as a flagship destination for the southeastern U.S.
Located within the Atlanta metropolitan area—the largest in Georgia and the ninth largest in the nation—Johns Creek provides a vibrant setting surrounded by global corporations such as Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, and CNN. The region is also home to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest airport, and has long been recognized for its influence in business, politics, and culture, as well as for hosting the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Kinokuniya first expanded overseas in 1969 with its San Francisco store and has continued to grow into an international name.
