Johns Creek is expanding even further with their groundbreaking mixed-use community, Medley. As a blend of residential, commercial, and recreational developments, Medley aims to become a walkable community that reduces car dependence and creates vibrant, dynamic neighborhoods. The city expects to complete this 43-acre urban utopia by October 2026!
4.) Hen Mother Michelin Recognition

Johns Creek made waves in the culinary world with its “kitschy” brunch bar, Hen Mother Cookhouse. This charming snack spot gained Michelin recognition, receiving high praise for refined takes on classic Southern dishes. There are many mouth-watering options to choose from, so many that Michelin reports “you’ll have a hard time putting down your fork.”

Crime rates are at an all-time low in Johns Creek, despite its ever-expanding population! Johns Creek maintains its spot on Safewise’s list of Safest Cities in Georgia for the second year in a row.
6.) Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra Performs in Vietnam

Johns Creek sent their very own Symphony Orchestra to Vietnam this year to participate in a “vibrant cultural exchange” of blending melodies! 71 musicians were chosen to present this meaningful and unique program on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-US diplomatic relations.

Johns Creek is proving to be a paradise for ALL, seeing as the Newtown Dream Dog Park has won the 3rd best dog park in the country! USA Today praises the park for its turf (cleaned daily), many agility obstacles, water fountains, shaded seating, and splash pad. The pooches of Johns Creek are giving this park 10/10 tail wags!
8.) Czech Republic Business Delegation Visit

The city extended a hand internationally this year! City and state officials met with business representatives from the Czech Republic to discuss the opportunities for multinational partnerships and further developments for the betterment of the city’s residents.
This special year has shown Johns Creek to be an ever-evolving city ”where art, adventure, and flavor meet” in the name of progress!
