Summer is around the corner, and we are just as ready as you are to soak up the sun and enjoy live music and good vibes! That’s right— the beloved Summer Concert Series tradition is returning to Newtown Park. The lineup is stacked with incredible performances to keep you dancing and singing all summer long.
Brought to you by the City of Johns Creek, this free, family-friendly concert series is the perfect way to enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Georgia. Bring family and friends, relax on the lawn, and let the music take over.

- Friday, May 2nd: Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute
Saddle up for a night of country classics with this tribute to the legendary Garth Brooks.
- Friday, June 6th: Carpool
Rock out with Carpool, a Cars tribute band that takes you back to the 80s.
- Thursday, July 3rd (Independence Day Celebration): Hot Flash
Celebrate Independence Day with this high-energy performance group that delivers rock and pop hits with flair.
- Friday, August 1: REMakes
Enjoy the best of 80s and 90s alternative rock with this tribute band that brings the sounds of R.E.M. to the stage.
- Saturday, September 6th: Purple Xperience
Experience the electricity and iconic purple vibes of Prince with this tribute band.
- Saturday, October 4: Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra
To finish off the concert series, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra will be serenading the audience with an array of beautiful live orchestral music.
The concerts are free to attend! Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Make sure you come early to grab your spot on the lawn and relax before a night of dancing, singing, and fun.
Know Before You Go
- What’s summertime fun without good food and refreshing drinks? Enjoy a variety of food trucks offering delicious bites. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase!
- Seating is first-come, first-served. Picnics and lawn chairs are welcome and highly encouraged.
- Concerts are rain or shine! Bring an umbrella in case of rain, but please do not bring pop-up tents. Lightning or severe weather may delay concerts.
