service: 5 decor: 3-4 (average) food: 4 (banh mi beef sandwich isnt on menu, you need to ask, the beef was so soft and sandwich was great 5 star. pho soup was alright, the meat was soft just soup slightly lacked 'viet pho flavor'). medium soup was a large bowl 🙂 plenty of parking

Great location and clean, but let down by indifferent service. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, likely my last. The restaurant occupies a prime location and is surprisingly large and much cleaner than your typical pho spot. However, it quickly became clear why the dining room was mostly empty. The prices are on the higher side, which is somewhat expected for the Johns Creek area, and the food itself is acceptable and perfectly fine. The real issue is the service. While the staff wasn't outright rude, they lacked any sense of hospitality or attentiveness. It felt like a classic case of an establishment run strictly by family members who know they won't face consequences for indifferent service. Good food and a clean space aren't enough to make up for a complete lack of service mindset.

I had a hard time finding the sandwich menu in store and online. Thankfully a friend has been there before and was able to make recommendations on what to order that would have been otherwise unavailable to me. The pho my son had was delicious according to him! Would absolutely go back again!

Le Mekong used to a more upscale restaurant that used to have a water-curtain like waterfall in the middle of the restaurant. That has since been removed perhaps to add more seats. This change has brought down the ambience and is now more plain. The food is very good. The Tom Yum soup came in a large bowl with fresh veggies and that itself could be a meal. I always get claypot with chicken and this has never failed me appreciating this restaurant for the food. The service is not bad, nothing to write home about though. The servers are quite busy, quick on their feet but take on multi roles. When you see the person serving food comes back with a noisy roller cart to clear the tables and then back again serving food, it raises a small concern. Overall this still a nice place that I would go back to again.
