Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (a National Park) is spread over a 48-mile section of the Chattahoochee River. It consists of 16 different areas or units beginning below Lake Lanier Dam in Forsyth County and ending at Peachtree Creek in metro Atlanta. The rive is accessible from five locations in or near Johns Creek.
